In St. Petersburg, the House of lampmaker Sebastian Kitner was recognized as an object of cultural heritage of regional significance. It is located on the corner of Pochtamtskaya Street and Isaakievskaya Square.

Sebastian Kitner bought a three-storey house opposite the St. Isaac's Cathedral under construction in 1826. Later, the fourth floor was completed according to the design of architect Leonard Schauffelberger. Famous architects such as Harald Bosse and Maximilian Kitner also took part in shaping the building's appearance.

In the second half of the 19th century, the architectural and artistic solution of the front facades was designed by Nikolai Yefimov in the style of the Neo-Renaissance.

Over the years, the Decembrist Alexander Odoevsky, the writer Alexander Griboyedov, the large industrialist Veniamin Bari and the founder of pediatric dentistry in Russia, Alexander Limberg, lived in this building. Now it is an apartment building with commercial solutions.

Earlier it was reported that St. Petersburg decided to restore the Pavlovsk Palace, which is an object of cultural heritage of federal significance. A search has been announced for a contractor to develop scientific and design documentation. The initial contract price is almost 160 million rubles.
