Megafon has introduced an AI assistant in communication salons
A smart assistant based on artificial intelligence has been introduced in the salons of the combined retail chain Megafon and Yota. The solution is based on a neural network integrated with corporate databases, Megafon said.
The AI system "Prompter" is a virtual assistant in the form of a chatbot. Artificial intelligence helps consultants to quickly answer questions about products, sales and service processes.
"More than half of our retail team are young professionals aged 18-24. For them, technology and AI tools are a familiar environment. That's why we don't just innovate, but speak the same language with them, making work processes more efficient and more comfortable," said Irina Balutina, Director of Megafon's Customer Experience and Quality Directorate. She added that since the launch, Prompter has received more than 10,000 requests, 60% of which were sent by employees with up to one year of experience.
The information in the system is updated daily and is available only to employees, Megafon emphasized. In the near future, the AI assistant will receive additional functions, in particular, integration with subscriber data is planned.
