Over a thousand urban facilities are planned to be built in Moscow in three years. Almost 3 trillion rubles, or 47% of the expenditure part of the city budget, have been allocated for this, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.

1.2 trillion rubles will be spent on the implementation of projects of the Targeted Investment Program (AIP) of the city. Its main task is to create a high—quality social infrastructure, the mayor explained in a statement. "AIP preserves the continuity and priorities of Moscow's investment policy," Sobyanin wrote.

So, in the next three years, the construction, reconstruction and restoration of 444 facilities will be completed in Moscow. Among them are 195 educational institutions and 52 healthcare facilities. 42 cultural facilities, 150 sports facilities and five social protection facilities will also be renovated and erected.

Another 1.8 trillion rubles will be spent on major repairs, the purchase of equipment, rolling stock, comprehensive development of districts, and the implementation of a renovation program, the mayor explained.

Earlier, the mayor said that renovation in the next three years will affect more than 215 thousand Muscovites. 1.5 times more citizens will receive new apartments than in the previous three years. A total of 8.7 million square meters will be built. m housing.
