The air defense forces destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flying to Moscow. This was announced on October 23 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense destroyed one drone flying to Moscow," Sobyanin wrote on the MAX messenger.

He also clarified that emergency services specialists are working at the crash site.
