Pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin will not lead to a settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said on October 23.
He called dialogue and negotiations the only possible way to resolve the crisis.
"Coercion and pressure will not solve the problem," he stressed at a briefing.
