The legendary show "Fort" has returned to Russian television screens, but with a national flavor. Extreme tests will take place in the real fortifications of Kronstadt and the whole plot is tied to the history of Russia.

Each issue has a new team, faces, and fears. Participants will be tested in icy water, surrounded by wild insects and exotic animals. They will have to overcome their fears and collect the five pieces of the key.

"The organizers have prepared more than 150 tests, combining extreme and logic, a special place is occupied by a meeting with a mysterious stranger. Her task is the key to the next stage, where mindfulness is more important than strength," Igor Kaporikov, a correspondent for Izvestia, said.

The Kronshlot fort is involved in the filming. According to the legend of the project, it is here that the hidden treasures of Peter I himself are buried.

"We couldn't help but choose this place. It was created once so that we could go there and shoot our own "Fort," said Alexandra Groisman, creative producer of the CTC TV channel.

Both fortresses are architectural monuments and UNESCO World Heritage Sites, which is why the decorators and production designers experienced difficulties in preparing the location for the show.

"It was impossible to drive nails, because these are historical walls, they built false walls, false floors, and then they attached fasteners to them, built decorations," explained the general producer of the Fort project. The Return of the Legend" by Yulia Sumacheva.

All structures required for testing have passed a stunt check. There are 52 participants in the show — actors, musicians, TV presenters, athletes and bloggers.

CTC TV channel announced the launch of the adventure show "Fort. Return of the Legend" on June 19 on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
