On Monday, October 27, Russian schools and colleges will host another lesson from the "Talking about the important" series. It will be timed to coincide with Teacher's Day and will focus on the importance of respect as the main principle of human relations. Izvestia tells us how classes will be held in different classes.

"Talking about important things" on October 27 — the topic of the lesson

The lesson "What is respect? Teacher's Day" is dedicated to one of the fundamental principles of human interaction. Teachers will help students understand the versatility of this concept and its practical significance. A key emphasis will be placed on showing respect in everyday life: in family, school and future professional team. Special attention is paid to the role of the teacher not only as a conductor of knowledge, but also as a significant personality whose work and dedication contribute to the development of each student.

The traditional lesson announcement will be presented by a young Russian actor Stanislav Solomatin, who will voice the key idea of the lesson: respect is not just formal politeness, but recognition of the merits of each person and the ability to appreciate the work of teachers, parents and loved ones.

Tatiana Ivanovna Baburova, a teacher of Russian language and literature at Gymnasium No. 1 in the city of Volokolamsk, Moscow region, will share her unique experience. She has devoted more than 62 years to serving the school, educating more than one generation of students and future teachers. For her many years of teaching, she was awarded the titles of Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation and Honored Teacher of Russia.

Maria Valyugina, Deputy Director of the Film College No. 40 of the Moscow International Film School, will join the lesson in a video interview format. She will tell you how Tatiana Ivanovna's lessons and mentoring influenced her choice of profession and how the word "respect" is understood by the modern generation of teachers.

The lesson will be held in the format of an educational conversation with the inclusion of interactive elements, video materials and presentations. The recommended duration of the lesson is 30 minutes. Guidelines and other materials are published on the project's website.

"Conversations about important things" October 27 — lesson program

For elementary school students (grades 1-4), the lesson will begin with a conversation about the teaching profession, its importance and the respect it traditionally evokes. Students will discuss why teachers' work is important, what they themselves mean by the concept of "respect" and how they show it in different situations.

The practical part includes the task "Palm: 5 facets of respect", where children, circling their palm, will sign the main principles of respectful attitude: words, deeds, time, personal boundaries and attention. Additionally, an interactive task "The Box of Deeds" will be offered, during which the children will give examples of their good deeds.

The topic of respect will also be considered using the example of Russian folk tales, where children will identify characters with a kind and respectful attitude towards others. At the end of the lesson, younger students will discuss how respect is linked to responsibility and helps build harmonious relationships with peers and other people.

Students in grades 5-7 will learn about famous personalities whose lives and activities have become a model of service to the Fatherland, professionalism and respect for people. The interactive task "Pride of Russia" will help to consolidate these examples. Next, students will move on to the practical task "How can I show respect", where they will give specific examples of respectful behavior at school, at home and in society. The teacher will also offer an interactive task, "Collect Proverbs," which reflects the value of respect based on the example of folk culture.

For students in grades 8-9, the conversation will focus on respect as the basis of social relations. An analysis of proverbs such as "Those who do not respect themselves will not be respected by others" will help reveal the depth of this concept. Students will also be told that in Ancient Russia, the teacher possessed not only knowledge, but also spiritual authority, and this respect for the teacher remains a key value in modern Russia.

As an illustration, the relationship between great people and their mentors will be analyzed, for example, Alexander II and Vasily Zhukovsky, Alexander Pushkin and Gavriil Derzhavin. During the dialogue, students will name polite forms of address, talk about people they respect, and discuss the qualities necessary to earn respect.

High school students (grades 10-11) will begin the lesson by discussing the concepts of respect and self—esteem, emphasizing that respect is a deep understanding of the value of another person and their work. They will be asked to give an example of a respected person who can inspire them to choose a profession, and reflect on who they consider their teachers and mentors.

The discussion will also touch upon the questions of what is more important: formal politeness or real respect, and quotes from the Russian writer Fyodor Dostoevsky and the outstanding teacher of the twentieth century Vasily Sukhomlinsky will be analyzed: "Those who are easily inclined to lose respect for others do not respect themselves first of all," "Only those who respect have the right to respect." other people."

The practical part includes working with a checklist containing questions for building comfortable communication and conflict prevention.

In colleges, the lesson will focus on building relationships in a large team. Students will discuss why insincere relationships interfere with teamwork, and suggest measures to improve teamwork if they were project managers. In the sequel, they will complete the practical task "How to show respect online" about digital etiquette and explain their answers.

Thus, during the lesson on October 27, students will learn that everyone deserves respect, and the ability to recognize the value of another, to accept his characteristics and differences are among the main signs of adult and responsible behavior.
