A man who planned to sell over 1,000 doses of heroin was detained in Novosibirsk. This was reported on October 23 in the Telegram channel of the Prosecutor's office of the Novosibirsk region.

"I wanted to sell more than 1,000 doses of heroin: the prosecutor's office is monitoring the progress and results of the criminal investigation into the attempted sale of narcotic drugs on a large scale," the report says.

According to the prosecutor's office, the accused purchased the drug on a large scale with the aim of further selling it, but did not manage to complete the crime. The man was detained by police officers in the Kirovsky district of the city, and during a personal search, 10 bags with 100 packages of a substance containing heroin were seized from him.

A criminal case was opened into the incident in accordance with Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph "d" of Part 4 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs")

On October 21, it was reported that in the Ryazan region, law enforcement agencies discovered a cannabis plantation in the forest, grown by a 50-year-old resident of the Moscow region. As a result, the police seized 69 bushes of narcotic plants. After the arrest, law enforcement agencies went to the suspect's place of residence, where they conducted a search. Three three-liter cans of marijuana were found there, as well as several containers with seedlings. The total weight of the seized drug reached 1.2 kg.
