Air defense systems have repelled an attack by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on the Rostov region. This was announced on October 23 by the governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar.

"At night, the air defense forces destroyed and intercepted UAVs in the Millerovsky and Sholokhovsky districts," he said in a message on his Telegram channel.

According to the governor, no one was injured in the attack. In addition, he added that as a result of the incident, no consequences were recorded on earth.

Earlier in the day, the Governor of the Voronezh Region, Alexander Gusev, announced that the air defense forces had destroyed at least eight unmanned aerial vehicles over the region. He clarified that there were no preliminary injuries or damage.
