The "Carpet" plan, which involves the temporary non-use of airspace, has been announced in the Penza region. This was announced on October 23 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
"Attention! The "Carpet" plan has been introduced in the Penza region. There is a temporary ban on the use of airspace," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.
Earlier it was clarified that an "Unmanned danger" regime has also been declared in the region.
Prior to that, on October 22, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Penza Region also reported on the introduction of the Carpet plan. Oleg Melnichenko, the governor of the region, clarified that airports throughout the region did not accept or release aircraft.
