The Social Fund talked about an increase in pensions in 2026

The pension increase in 2026 will affect 38 million pensioners, and the average increase compared to 2025 will amount to almost 2 thousand rubles. This was announced on October 23 by the head of the Social Fund Sergey Chirkov.

"The increase in insurance pensions in 2026 will affect payments to more than 38 million people. Thus, as a result, the average size of the old—age insurance pension will increase by 1.9 thousand rubles and exceed 27 thousand rubles," he said in an interview with TASS.
