A second explosion occurred at an enterprise in Kopeisk, Chelyabinsk region, at the source of the fire. This was announced on Wednesday, October 23, by the governor of the region Alexey Texler.

"There was another explosion in the fire center. All the necessary forces and means of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working on the spot," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Texler confirmed the information about five victims. The death toll is still being clarified.
