Natalia Ovchinnikova, the second director of the film "Moscow does not believe in tears," has died.

Natalia Ovchinnikova, a member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, died at the age of 76. This was announced on October 22 in the press service of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia.

"At the age of 76, our friend and colleague, a member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, the second director Natalia Mikhailovna Ovchinnikova, died," the organization's Telegram channel says.

Ovchinnikova graduated from the Film studies department of the VGIK in 1984, and since 1970 worked at Mosfilm, where she worked her way up from assistant director to second director. During her career, she has collaborated with prominent directors, including Eldar Ryazanov, Rolan Bykov, Vladimir Menshov and Mikhail Schweitzer.

In addition, Ovchinnikova participated in the creation of such paintings as "Moscow does not believe in tears", "Circus Princess", "Scarecrow" and "Old Robbers".
