The Halloween-style festive decoration in the children's area of the Abakan shopping center has provoked sharp criticism from residents of the city. The corresponding message appeared on the Telegram channel of Marina Akhmedova, editor-in-chief of Regnum news agency.

"The bloody composition contains references to childhood for a reason. It is installed in the children's area, where children constantly go. The management of the shopping center does not see anything terrible in them," said the editor—in-chief.

According to residents of the city, the installation was placed on the way to the game room in the entertainment center for preschoolers.

In addition, Akhmedova expressed a desire to draw attention to the situation of the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the region.

Earlier, on October 21, 121 people were poisoned in Ulan-Ude, 66 of whom were children. The hospitalization of residents of Ulan-Ude in the Republic of Buryatia became known on October 19. All the patients, before they were hospitalized, ate finished products manufactured by Vostok LLC. The regional prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the mass poisoning.
