Representatives of Moscow and Beijing discussed joint projects

A meeting of representatives was held in Moscow The Western Administrative District of the capital and Changping District of Beijing. The parties agreed to develop cooperation in the field of culture and the implementation of joint socially significant projects.

Moscow was represented at the meeting by Marina Prozorova, Deputy Head of the Department of Territorial Executive Authorities of Moscow, and Maria Petrosyan, Deputy Prefect of CJSC. The meeting was also attended by Maria Tkalich, Chief Specialist of the Department of International Relations of the Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations of the City of Moscow, and heads of district administrations of CJSC.

"This meeting is a continuation of our dialogue that began in May in Beijing. Then we signed a memorandum of cooperation," said Alexey Alexandrov, Prefect of the Western Administrative District.

He stressed that the parties share common values, and both Russia and China honor cultural traditions. "It is on this solid foundation that we are building a partnership focused on concrete results for the residents of our cities," Alexandrov stressed.
