Rosrybolovstvo may impose retaliatory sanctions against Norway on fishing by the end of 2025. Ilya Shestakov, the head of the department, told reporters on October 22 on the sidelines of the International Fisheries Forum.
"The Norwegian side has stated that it is allegedly working within the framework of our agreement, which we strongly disagree with. They will not lift any restrictions yet. We are now preparing retaliatory measures, which we will announce to the Norwegian side in a timely manner," TASS quoted him as saying.
