The IOC proposed to deprive Indonesia of the right to host international tournaments
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has recommended that Indonesia be stripped of its right to host international tournaments, and has also suspended negotiations on hosting the Olympics in the country. This was announced on October 22 on the official website of the committee.
"To terminate any dialogue with the Indonesian NOC on holding future Olympic Games, Youth Olympic Games, Olympic events or conferences until the Indonesian government provides the IOC with sufficient guarantees that it will allow entry to all participants, regardless of their nationality," the release says.
