In Brazil, a 20-year-old football player died after a motorcycle collided with a cow.
Brazilian soccer player Anthony Ilano died at the age of 20 after crashing his motorcycle into a cow. This was reported on October 22 by the Daily Mirror newspaper.
"Returning home from his father's birthday party, Anthony Ilano died when he drove into a cow that had come out into the middle of the road," the publication says.
The incident occurred on October 20 at about 3:30 a.m. local time (13:00 Moscow time). Ilano died on the spot from his injuries, the newspaper reports.
The newspaper added that an investigation is underway into the fact of a football player's collision with an animal.
Earlier, on September 23, the Blesk portal, with reference to the Czech Biathlon Federation, reported that biathlete Jan Vanya died in a car accident at the age of 19. According to the newspaper, the athlete was hit by a car when he was riding a bicycle near the village of Crone in the Hrudim district.
