Medical districts will be created in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The Krasnoyarsk Territory will undergo a transformation of the regional healthcare system. There will be medical districts, district hospitals, polyclinics, clinics and outpatient clinics, while maintaining them.

The issue was discussed at the presidium of the regional government, chaired by Governor Mikhail Kotyukov. According to Alexey Konovalenko, Deputy Minister of Health of the region, cited by KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the development of technologies in healthcare requires the purchase of expensive equipment and the formation of experienced multidisciplinary teams.

So, in surgery, skeletal traction in fractures was replaced by surgical treatment, which reduced the time of hospitalization from several months to several days. Endoscopic operations are performed in gynecology.

In order for new technologies to become available to everyone, it is necessary to unite patients in large medical centers. District hospitals are not able to meet the needs of patients at a high level. In this regard, the concept of creating medical districts has emerged, Konovalenko said.

A uniform and effective system of medical care throughout the region will include a polyclinic service, modern hospitals and clear patient routing.

The governor instructed to finalize the concept, draw up a plan and discuss possible changes. According to him, it is necessary to show people that the doors they walk through will remain open for them.

Earlier it was reported that the medical sector this year demonstrated an explosive increase in demand for shift workers. There is a growing need for such workers in the chemical and mining sectors, as well as in industry and agriculture. However, such a "race" is taking place against the background of the cooling of interest in shift workers in general — the total number of vacancies for them decreased by 13%.
