Media reported a shooting at the Serbian Parliament building
A man shot and wounded a 57-year-old man near the Serbian parliament building in Belgrade. This was reported by the Kurir newspaper on October 22.
"One of the protesters shot at a man and then set fire to a tent [of supporters of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic] in front of the National Assembly building," the article says.
The shooter was detained by the police. The area in front of the parliament building is cordoned off.
Vucic, in turn, called the incident a terrorist act.
"It is necessary to stop this hatred incited by some politicians and the media. Not a single building of the opposition party was attacked," the Serbian president stressed.
Earlier, on October 11, CBS News reported that at least four people were killed and 12 injured in a shooting in Mississippi. It was clarified that the shooting occurred on the main street of the city. The four injured were taken by helicopter to local hospitals.
