Fires of dry vegetation are being eliminated on the island part of Khabarovsk. A group of rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the search and rescue squad of the region and rescuers from the regional center are working on the fires.

According to IA AmurMedia, with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Khabarovsk Territory, a dry grass fire occurred in the area of Dachny and Kabelny islands. The Gorenje was able to eliminate the burning for about 3 km along the front.

The day before, on October 21, mobile groups of a search and rescue squad and a specialized fire and rescue unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region were sent to the islands of Bolshoy Ussuriysky and Kabelny. Temporary posts are organized to prevent landscape fires during the autumn fire season.

Earlier it was reported that the navigation season is coming to an end in Khabarovsk. In 2025, the ships will make their last voyages on October 31. This year, more than 65 thousand citizens used suburban river transportation.
