Booking accommodation for the New Year has broken a record in the Krasnodar Territory

Krasnodar Krai topped the ranking of Russian regions in terms of the number of bookings for New Year and Christmas. The share of the region in the total volume of early booking destinations for these dates was 13%. These are the data from the Avito Travel online service.

According to KrasnodarMedia news agency, the cost of renting an apartment in Kuban from December 31 to January 10 averaged 6.1 thousand rubles per day. Renting a country house will cost an average of 13.5 thousand rubles per day.

Kuban ranks third in terms of booking activity. Moscow and the Moscow region are in the first place, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region are in the second.

This year, Russians took care of where they would go for the New Year holidays early and booked 10% more accommodation than in 2024.

In early October, it was reported that after the opening of Gelendzhik Airport in July 2025 and Krasnodar Airport in September, the demand for housing in the south of the country increased by 16-25%. Against this background, there is a risk of a 10-15% price spike, experts say. In addition, in the coming year, the real estate market in the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea will grow faster than other regions of the country.
