The State Duma told about the indexation of pensions from November 1

Starting from November 1, 2025, the Social Fund of Russia will carry out another recalculation of pensions. The increases will affect several categories of citizens for whom there are legitimate grounds for reviewing payments. Alexey Govyrin, a member of the State Duma Committee on Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (United Russia faction), told Izvestia about this on November 1.

"First of all, these are elderly people who turned 80 in October. Their fixed pension payment is automatically doubled from 8,907.70 to 17,815.40 rubles. If a pensioner is officially cared for, a monthly supplement of 1,314 rubles is added to his insurance pension, and 1,377 rubles to the state pension," he said.

The payment is difficult: the average pension in three years will exceed 30 thousand rubles.

Why, with such growth, will it still be four times lower than earnings?

A similar allowance is valid for the disabled of the first group, regardless of age, if the disability is officially established. For those who live in the northern regions, the total amount increases taking into account the regional coefficients, reaching almost 20 thousand rubles per month.

"Another category is pensioners who quit in October. Since November, they begin to receive a pension in full, taking into account all the indexations carried out during their work," said Govyrin.

Recalculation is also traditionally carried out for civil aviation flight crews and coal industry workers. These payments are reviewed quarterly — in February, May, August and November — depending on the accumulated insurance premiums and the duration of the special period. The average increase for these groups will be from one and a half to 3 thousand rubles. In addition, November payments are already being made taking into account the October indexation of military pensions by 7.6%, which increased their average amount to 40-45 thousand rubles.

On October 11, it was reported that in Russia the average monthly salary of workers in the financial sector, tobacco production and the oil industry exceeded 200 thousand rubles. According to statistics, in July of this year, financiers and insurers had the highest salaries — 221.9 thousand rubles.
