The General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces noted the growing threat of attacks on residential areas in Russia

The threat of attacks on critical infrastructure and residential areas in Russia has increased due to the use of long-range UAVs by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on October 22 by Vice Admiral Vladimir Tsimlyansky, Deputy Head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

"Due to the increased use of long—range drones by the armed formations of Ukraine to launch attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation, the threat of hitting critical infrastructure and residential areas has increased," he said at a briefing.
