Bashkiria's small businesses will be helped to introduce social responsibility practices

Bashkiria's small businesses will be helped to integrate social aspects into their activities on a regular basis. The corresponding agreement was signed by the NGO "Public Capital" and the Fund for the Development and Support of Small Business of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The purpose of the agreement is to attract small businesses to the Standard of Public capital. This is a form of public non-financial reporting aimed at supporting companies that contribute to the realization of national goals of the state.

The partnership document was signed by Asiyat Bagatyrova, Director General of the NGO "Public Capital", and Eliana Saitova, Chairman of the Meeting of the National Monitoring and Analytics Center, Director General of the Fund for the Development and Support of Small Business of the Republic of Bashkortostan. "The task of ANO Social Capital is to help companies regularly integrate social aspects into their activities to create favorable working conditions, strengthen their reputation, and, consequently, stable growth," Bagatyrova said.

She noted that about 145 thousand small and medium-sized enterprises operate in Bashkiria. Last year, the region ranked second in Russia in terms of the number of registered social entrepreneurs. "This indicates a high level of business understanding of how important its role is in solving socially significant initiatives," Bagatyrova believes.

The Chairman of the meeting of the National Monitoring and Analytics Center, Eliana Saitova, noted that the signing of the agreement will help in the formation of new, higher standards of doing business in Russia.

The parties agreed to develop a roadmap for the preparation and holding of joint events in the near future. In particular, it is planned to hold seminars where entrepreneurs will be presented the features of the standard and its advantages.

Earlier, within the framework of SPIEF 2025, a cooperation agreement was signed between the NGO "Public Capital" and the Republic of Bashkortostan.
