At least eight aircraft were delayed in the Omsk airport due to thick fog with visibility of 100 m. This is evidenced on October 22 by the data from the operational online scoreboard of this airport.
Currently, four planes are delayed, which were supposed to go to Moscow and one each to Antalya, St. Petersburg, Astana and Kazan.
The Telegram channel of the Omsk airport's press service reported that due to the observed adverse weather conditions, three air vessels were sent to alternate airfields located in Astana, Novosibirsk and Tyumen. In addition, the message also called on passengers to keep up-to-date information about the status of their flights on online or electronic scoreboards, as well as on information desks.
At least eight flights were canceled and 12 more were delayed on October 9 at Novosibirsk's Tolmachevo airport. The reason for this was not reported.
