The vast majority of Russians (77%) are engaged in additional work in addition to the main one and receive no more than 15 thousand rubles per month from this. This follows from the results of a survey conducted by the Console platform for automating relations with the self-employed in conjunction with the <url> job search and personnel service.

The survey was conducted among 1.8 thousand citizens. It is specified that the majority of them (64%) receive no more than 15 thousand rubles per month from part-time jobs. Significantly smaller shares earn from 15 to 30 thousand (23%), from 30 to 50 thousand (8%) and over 50 thousand (4%). Almost two thirds of the respondents hide these incomes from their main employer. The main reason for earning extra money is financial: 84% do this to increase earnings.

According to statistics, one in four seeks to repay loans, 38% save for a "financial cushion", and 27% for large purchases. However, despite these goals, most of the earned funds (60%) are spent on daily needs, and 26% on travel. The regularity of part—time work varies: every third person works an additional weekly, every fifth — 3-4 times a month, and 40% - 1-2 times a month. Russians most often work part-time on weekends (51%) or on weekday evenings (40%), spending up to 10 hours a week on average.

"The most popular areas for part—time work are copywriting (21%), the service sector (26%), IT (19%) and delivery (16%)," said Alexander Avdeev, director of development of the platform for automating relations with the self—employed and IP Console, in an interview with Gazeta.Ru».

He clarified that 61% see their hobbies as a source of additional income. Many are willing to do physical labor or work as a courier for the sake of money, believing that couriers can earn more than office workers, although this often requires full-time employment and long working hours. The average earnings of couriers who work part-time on weekends is just over 33 thousand rubles.

A survey conducted by the Talantix CRM recruitment system showed that the majority of Russians are interested in salaries and motivation systems even at the stage of job consideration. It was clarified that for 42% of respondents, information about the social package and bonuses is important, for 40% — about career prospects.
