In the Rostov region, the air defense forces repelled an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on October 22 by the governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar.

"The air defense forces repelled an enemy air attack at night, destroying and intercepting UAVs in the Chertkovsky district. There are no recorded consequences on earth," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The governor also clarified that there were no casualties.

On October 21, the head of the region reported that four apartment buildings and three private houses were damaged as a result of an attack by an AFU UAV in the Rostov region. In addition, in the village of Nedvigovka, Myasnikovsky district, about 3 thousand residents were left without electricity as a result of damage to a transformer substation.
