The State Duma talked about the new rules for revoking a driver's license

Starting from March 1, 2027, new rules regarding a driver's license will come into force in Russia, according to which, if a driver is found to have a disease that poses a threat to road safety, including mental disorders, his driver's license will be revoked. This was announced on October 22 by State Duma Deputy Sergei Kolunov.

"Starting from March 1, 2027, a law will come into force in Russia, according to which a citizen's driver's license will be revoked if he has dangerous diseases, including mental disorders," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
