A group of British military personnel under the command of a high-ranking general was sent to Israel to monitor the truce in Gaza. This was announced on October 21 by the Minister of the British Defense Department, John Healy.

"We can contribute to monitoring the ceasefire. <...> We have specialized experience and skills that we have offered to contribute," Sky News quoted him as saying after one of the events in London.

It is specified that the British major general heading this group will be involved as the deputy commander of the United States, who is responsible for the leadership of the military-civilian coordination center, which may also include representatives of Egypt, Qatar, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.

On the same day, the press service of the American Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the opening of a coordination center for assistance to Gaza and monitoring compliance with agreements in Israel. The statement clarifies that the representatives of this center will include 200 people who will work under the command of Lieutenant General Patrick Frank, commander of the US Army Central Command (ARCENT).
