On October 21, US President Donald Trump announced that he would soon provide assistance in resolving the ninth conflict during his tenure.

"We have ended eight conflicts, and the ninth is already on the way, believe it or not," he said during a meeting with members of the United States Senate from the Republican Party at the White House.

The American leader did not specify which one he was going to settle. Earlier, he claimed that he had managed to resolve eight international conflicts, including the Palestinian-Israeli one. Trump added that in more than half of the cases, this was achieved through economic measures and duties.

On October 13, Trump announced the end of the war in the Gaza Strip and the release of Israeli hostages by the Hamas movement. Later, at the Sharm el-Sheikh summit, representatives of Egypt, the United States, Qatar and Turkey signed an agreement to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip.
