One person was killed and one injured in a truck accident in Yakutia

In the Khangalassky district of Yakutia, as a result of a collision between a minivan and a stationary truck, one person was killed and one injured. This is reported by the Republican State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred on the night of October 21 on the 92nd km of the Umnas regional road. It was previously established that the 34-year-old driver of the Toyota Success minivan lost control. The car left the roadway and crashed into the cab of a parked MAN truck.

As a result of the head-on collision, the front of the minivan was severely damaged, the passenger side was literally crushed and went under the truck.

The passenger of the car died on the spot. The driver suffered multiple injuries and was taken to the hospital, writes IA YakutiaMedia.

The police are conducting an investigation into the accident. All circumstances are being established.

On October 18, it was reported that in Serpukhov, Moscow region, a truck crashed into three trucks and two cars passing by. As a result of the accident, three people were killed, and two children received various injuries.
