Military expert, captain of the first rank of the reserve Vasily Dandykin said that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at the front amount to at least 1.6 thousand people per day.

In conversation with Lenta.On Tuesday, October 21, the expert said that the fighting is intense and almost every day the Russian military takes control of new settlements. According to him, there are losses on both sides, but the enemy has significantly higher losses.

Dandykin also explained that the Ukrainian side is trying to fill the shortage of personnel by continuous mobilization and the involvement of foreign military personnel. However, as the expert emphasized, the number of people willing to fight on the side of Ukraine is decreasing.

According to him, the bulk of the losses are compensated by the mobilization of the citizens of Ukraine themselves, often by force.
