For the first time in Russia, a court fined a blogger for advertising a hotel on the Instagram social network (owned by Meta, a recognized extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation). This was reported to Izvestia on October 21 by blogger Evgenia Tutushkina.

"I was brought to justice and fined 30,000 rubles. At the moment, we are waiting for a ruling and are filing a lawsuit with the arbitration court of the Krasnodar Territory," the blogger told Izvestia.

Since this was the first violation, the blogger believes that it would be advisable to choose a warning against her, since this article implies this measure.

In addition, the blogger shared on her social networks that she only wanted to tell about the hotel for free and did not take any money from the owners.

Earlier, on April 7, Putin signed a law banning the distribution of advertising on the resources of undesirable organizations in the Russian Federation. It was noted that both advertisers and distributors of advertisements would be responsible for violating the ban.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
