Zenit St. Petersburg football club (FC) forward Mateo Cassiera has been out for a month due to a calf injury. This was reported to Sport-Express on October 21 by the team's press service.

"Cassierra underwent an examination, damage to the calf muscle was revealed — it will take about four weeks of individual training," the statement said.

It is noted that the more precise timing of Cassiera's return to the field will depend on the dynamics of the athlete's recovery.

Earlier, on October 19, Zenit defeated Sochi 3-0 in the match of the 12th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). In the next round, Zenit will host Dynamo Moscow on October 26, while Sochi will face Akhmat.
