The need for Russian goods persists in the situation of ongoing sanctions restrictions, even unfriendly countries are buying them. This was announced on October 21 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, speaking at the Made in Russia international export forum.

"We are actively developing new logistics for this purpose. Among other things, we are developing international transport corridors in the southern and eastern directions," the Prime Minister said.

According to Mishustin, both Russia's partners and "unfriendly countries" buy Russian goods at the same time. The latter, in turn, purchase Russian energy resources, nuclear fuel, metals, fertilizers, seafood, and more.

Mishustin emphasized the reorientation of Russian exports to the markets of the Eurasian Economic Union, the Commonwealth of Independent States, the BRICS association, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. In addition, he noted a twofold increase in exports to Asia, Africa, and Latin America — in 2021 it was 44%, in 2024 the figure exceeded 85%.

Earlier, on September 23, it was reported that the import of pears from China to Russia in August showed significant growth, increasing almost one and a half times in a month, to $2.8 million. It was also noted that in August, Russia significantly increased exports of barley and oats to China on a monthly basis, while supplies of corn and buckwheat decreased significantly.
