Russia has developed high-speed interceptor drones with vertical takeoff

Moscow developers, with the support of the Kulibin Club of the Popular Front, showed a high-speed interceptor drone with vertical takeoff, designed to unload air defense systems in the face of massive attacks by aircraft-type drones. On October 21, representatives of the organization told Izvestia about the features of this technique.

"The interceptor drone is designed to shoot down these drones, unloading the air defense system and increasing the effectiveness of destruction," said Andrey, the interceptor drone developer.

According to him, the drone will be able to carry explosives at a distance of 10-15 km and activate automatically. It is specified that the UAV has completely Russian software. Artificial intelligence and an on-board computer help him in targeting, chasing and defeating.

Currently, the first batches of hundreds of drones have already been produced for testing.
