The most popular places for short-term tourism in Russia are named

St. Petersburg and Krasnodar Krai have become the most sought-after destinations for short trips in the summer and early autumn of 2025. This was told by analysts of Sberbank's Domclick service based on the results of a study on the volume of short-term bookings in tourist locations, which is becoming increasingly popular among travelers.

According to the study, St. Petersburg accounted for 11.4% of all bookings for the season in the summer and autumn of this year, while Krasnodar Krai accounted for 10.1%. Kazan also entered the top three (5.4%), with Moscow in fourth place (4.7%).

About 4.5% of Domklik24 users chose holidays in the resort towns of Crimea. In addition, Vladivostok entered the top ten with an indicator of 3.6%. Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Novgorod lagged behind him quite a bit (both with 3.5% each). Just over 3% of tourists stayed in Kaliningrad and the resort towns of the Kaliningrad region. Novosibirsk rounded out the top ten (2.5%). The next cities are Volgograd (2.4%), Samara and Rostov-on-Don (both accounting for 2.2% of all bookings). The top 15 also included resorts in the Stavropol Territory (2.1%) and Yaroslavl (1.4%). The relatively low position of the Stavropol Territory is explained by the fact that recreation and treatment in sanatoriums are traditionally common in this region.

Moscow has traditionally become the most expensive destination (5.3 thousand rubles per night), surpassing Vladivostok and the Kaliningrad Region by 5.2 thousand rubles, respectively. Yekaterinburg and Volgograd (3.6 thousand rubles each), as well as Novosibirsk (3.7 thousand rubles each) were among the most affordable destinations this season.

In St. Petersburg and Kazan, the leaders of the rating, the average cost of booking a daily apartment was 4.8 thousand rubles, and in the Krasnodar Territory — 4.2 thousand rubles. At the same time, certain destinations in resort regions, such as Sochi in the Krasnodar Territory or Zelenogradsk in the Kaliningrad Region, can be significantly more expensive.
