Murmansk Region authorities to allocate 57 million rubles for social payments
The government of the Murmansk Region will send more than 57 million rubles to the regional Ministry of Social Development. The money will come from the reserve fund and will be used for social benefits, the resolution says.
Most of the funds — 54 million rubles — will be spent on subsidies to Northerners who need help paying for housing and utilities.
Another 3.42 million will be allocated for payments to civil servants of military unit No. 10333. According to the Bi-port news agency, the governor instructed to pay an additional 10,000 rubles a month to workers in the interests of ensuring the security of the country and the region.
The payments will be handled by the regional social support center. The report on the targeted spending of the allocated money will be submitted to the regional Ministry of Finance by February 2026.
Earlier it was reported that the Murmansk region will allocate almost 20 million rubles for a mass examination of newborns. Babies will be tested for congenital and hereditary diseases.
