Three teenagers were arrested in Tatarstan in the case of a terrorist attack.
Three minor residents of Tatarstan have been charged with committing a terrorist act on a railway ordered by foreign intelligence services. This was announced on October 21 by the Central Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
"Investigators of the Central Department of Justice of the Investigative Committee of Russia have charged three minor residents of the region under paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Commission of a terrorist act by a group of persons by prior agreement")," the agency's website says.
According to the investigation, the teenagers acted on the orders of foreign intelligence services and, for a monetary reward, set fire to railway equipment near Bugulma in August 2025. They did not receive the promised 24 thousand rubles.
All three were detained immediately after the crime was committed, and they were given a preventive measure in the form of detention. The criminal case against other participants in the crime has been separated into separate proceedings.
Earlier that day, the FSB detained a suspect in the transfer of data on air defense to Ukraine. According to the investigation, after the start of the special military operation, the defendant collected and transmitted information about the location of air defense systems and other facilities of the Russian Ministry of Defense in the Moscow Region and Krasnodar Territory via the Telegram messenger, and also provided coordinates of the area for missile guidance and unmanned aerial vehicles.
