The Russian military has begun using the new heavy drone "Vogan"

The Russian military has begun using a new heavy Vogan drone capable of carrying up to 9 kg of payload, a senior UAV unit operator of the 37th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade with the call sign Krugly said on October 21.

"This drone is used for two purposes: It is capable of both making drops and simply hitting targets one-way. It lifts up to 9 kg," Krugly said.

As the operator explained, due to the increased weight and size, the drone has increased resistance to weather conditions and can travel considerable distances.

"They say that one is not a warrior in the field. But it turns out to be a warrior!"

The day before, the operator of the Rosgvardiya drone eliminated the howitzer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region.
