A full-scale blackout occurred in Chernihiv, Ukraine, leaving the city without electricity and water supply. On October 21, Chernihiv Vodokanal announced this on its Facebook account (the owner of Meta is recognized as extremist in Russia and banned).
"The facilities of the Chernihiv Vodokanal are de—energized, as is the whole city," the report says.
The utility noted that the facilities are powered by alternative power sources. Residents of the city were urged to stock up on drinking water.
