The city of Slavutich in the Kiev region and the north of the Chernihiv region were left without electricity due to damage to power plants. This was reported on October 20 in the Telegram channel of JSC "Chernihiv Power Plant".

As indicated in the message, a large-scale blackout was observed at night. Information about the blackout in the city of Slavutich was received at 21:45 Moscow time, and in the Chernihiv region at about 22:00 Moscow time.

Slavutych Mayor Yuri Fomichev clarified on his social network. It is reported that the incident at the electrical substation occurred outside the city.
