In Sayansk, Irkutsk region, three people were injured in an accident involving an ambulance. This was announced on October 21 by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the region.

"According to preliminary information, a 41-year-old woman driving a Mitsubishi Dion car did not provide an advantage and collided with a GAZ car moving with beacons on and an audible siren. After the impact, the minivan was thrown against a metal fence," the department's Telegram channel said.

It is reported that the driver and passenger of the foreign car were hospitalized. The ambulance driver was alone in the car at the time of the collision, and he received one-time medical care.

On October 20, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reported that 581 accidents occurred on Russian roads over the past weekend, on October 18-19, in which 92 people were killed and 711 injured. 30 car accidents involving buses were recorded, in which two people were killed and 39 road users, including two children, required medical attention.
