Yurov's first NHL goal brought victory to Minnesota in the match against the New York Rangers

The Minnesota Wild Hockey Club defeated the New York Rangers 3-1 in an away match of the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season. The meeting took place on October 21.

The winners were 32-year-old Swedish defender Jonas Brodin (6th minute), 21-year-old Russian striker Danila Yurov (49th), for whom this goal was the first of the NHL season, and 28-year-old forward Kirill Kaprizov (59th). 33-year-old Russian striker Artemy Panarin scored for the losing team (1st).

The Minnesota Wild is in eighth place in the Western Conference (seven points after seven games). The New York Rangers are in ninth place in the Eastern Conference (seven points in eight games), according to Sport-Express.

On October 18, the Washington Capitals defeated the Minnesota Wild 5-1 in an NHL regular season match. Captain of HC Washington and Russian striker Alexander Ovechkin scored a goal and made an assist.
