One person was killed and five injured in an accident in the Novosibirsk region.

One person was killed and five others were injured as a result of a Toyota Alphard minivan driving into a ditch on the 186th km of the K-17R Novosibirsk–Kochki–Pavlodar highway. This was reported on the night of October 21 in the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate for the Novosibirsk region.

"On October 21, at about 01:20 (21:20 Moscow time), a man born in 1995, <...> according to preliminary information, <...> lost control and drove into the right ditch along the way, followed by overturning the car. As a result of the incident, a man, a passenger born in 1991, suffered life—threatening injuries," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.

It is specified that as a result of the tragedy, a woman born in 1996 and a man born in 2007 were hospitalized in serious condition in a regional hospital. In addition, minor injuries were sustained by a passenger born in 2004, a passenger born in 2006, and the driver himself — they were referred for outpatient treatment.

The press service noted that employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate and representatives of the investigative task force of the police were involved at the scene of the accident to establish the circumstances of the incident. In addition, information appeared on the Telegram channel of the prosecutor's office of the Novosibirsk region that an investigation had been organized into the incident. This work, as emphasized, will be coordinated by the Kochkovsky district prosecutor Alexander Gusev, who went to the scene of the accident.
