Temporary restrictions on the admission and release of aircraft were lifted at the airports of Nizhny Novgorod and Tambov. This was announced on October 21 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.
"Nizhny Novgorod (Chkalov) and Tambov (Donskoye) airports. Restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft have been lifted," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
It is noted that these measures were introduced in order to ensure flight safety. During the restrictions, one plane went to the alternate airfield, flying to Nizhny Novgorod.
The representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency clarified that the aircraft crews, air traffic controllers and airport services had taken all necessary measures to ensure flight safety.
On October 20, Korenyako announced the introduction of time restrictions on flights at Tambov Airport. Later, restrictions were introduced at Nizhny Novgorod Airport.
