Joe Biden, who served as president of the United States from 2021 to 2025, and who suffers from prostate cancer, has completed a course of radiation therapy. This was reported on October 20 by the CBS television channel with reference to Kelly Scully, a representative of the former head of the White House.

"The former president (Biden. — Ed.), who will turn 83 next month, on Monday (October 20. - Ed.) completed a course of radiation therapy at the cancer center in Philadelphia," the article says.

As the Biden representative noted, the former president rang a special bell at the end of the treatment, marking the end of therapy. His daughter Ashley also posted footage of the event on social media.

The Washington Post reported on May 30 that Biden was undergoing cancer treatment. It was clarified that the disease did not affect the organs of the ex-president other than the prostate. Later, on October 18, The New York Post published footage of Biden's first public appearance after starting therapy.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
