Military personnel of the 37th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 36th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Vostok group of forces told the details of the liberation of the settlement of Privolye in the Dnipropetrovsk region in the special military operation zone. The relevant footage was distributed by the Russian Defense Ministry on October 21.

"The settlement was liberated by us. The enemy was moving through hidden prepared positions. Thanks to aerial reconnaissance, our enemy positions were identified, suppressed, and destroyed. The civilians who were present received the necessary assistance. Those who needed medical attention and evacuation received help from us," said the squad commander with the call sign Fire.

He also said that the civilian population was used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the creation of fortified areas, strongholds, trenches and trenches. During the withdrawal, the enemy used the civilian population for cover, which led to a change in combat tactics.

The deputy commander of the assault company with the call sign Kot said that the soldiers moved out in small groups, as the enemy uses FPV drones and actively mines positions.

"After advancing our assault groups through the forest belts adjacent to the village of Privolye, we came across enemy polling stations and engaged in a shooting battle. We destroyed the enemy, put some of them to flight, and got trophies. We rested and went directly to the combat mission of storming the settlement of Privolye. The enemy was well entrenched, holding on to literally every house, but could not withstand the onslaught of our stormtroopers. Mercenaries from the Baltic states, such as Poles and Lithuanians, were identified, and a couple of mercenaries were from Colombia. This is all proved by the fact that they had their passports with them, the documents of their countries from where they came from," said the Cat.

As a result of the fighting for the settlement of Privolye, the military personnel of the Vostok group of forces took control of the enemy's defense area and advanced to a depth of more than 4 km. Thanks to the coordinated work of the operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and artillery crews, the assault units reached the natural barrier line of the Yanchur River, creating favorable conditions for further offensive.

A small settlement is important for the further actions of the Vostok group of forces in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The military personnel of the Vostok group of forces continue to successfully conduct military operations against the Ukrainian neo-Nazis, knocking out the enemy from fortified positions and liberating the lands of the Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

The liberation of the Volga region in the Dnipropetrovsk region became known on October 17. During the advance of the Zapad group of forces, the losses of the Ukrainian side amounted to more than 1,570 soldiers. 21 armored fighting vehicles, 171 conventional vehicles and nine field artillery guns were also destroyed. In addition, the Russian army hit 39 ammunition depots and 61 electronic warfare and counter-battery stations in this area.

Later that day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Russian Armed Forces, having liberated the settlement of Privolnoye in the Dnipropetrovsk region, reached the Yanchur River and created conditions for the continuation of the offensive. It is noted that Freedom is important for the further offensive of the Russian army.
