The associate professor advised Russians not to keep large amounts on their cards.
For financial security and protection against fraud, Russians should not keep large amounts of money on bank cards. This was announced on October 21 by Meri Valishvili, Associate Professor of the Department of State and Municipal Finance at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
"First of all, there is a high possibility that scammers will get access to your card. This is especially true for cards linked to online stores and digital services. The likelihood of unauthorized write—offs, including by intruders, is increasing," she said in an interview with the Prime agency.
